Ms. Shea is a distinguished professional in the field of User Experience Design, currently serving as the Lead User Interface / User Experience (UI/UX) Designer at Multifactor AI, Inc., a software development company based in Los Angeles. She collaborates closely with Product Managers and owners to bring their digital product ideas to fruition. She meticulously identifies product details and requirements, creates wireframes, and works directs researchers to ensure the success of each project.
Before joining Multifactor AI earlier this year, Ms. Shea was a UX Designer for mobile products at Warner Bros. Games from 2018 to 2024. During this period, she played a pivotal role in developing the popular mobile game Mortal Kombat Mobile, a project she takes great pride in. Prior to joining Warner Bros. Games, she served as Lead Product Designer and Interim Product Manager at Certifix, where she worked on a comprehensive software suite for live scans. Her tenure at Certifix began in 2016 as a Product Designer. Prior roles in the product design space include UI/UX designer at UST Global and UI and production designer at apparel and footwear manufacturer Adidas.
Throughout her career, Ms. Shea has achieved numerous milestones and accolades. She was a guest speaker at Cal State Fullerton in 2021.
Ms. Shea’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in design with a minor in English from Cal Poly Pomona in 2015. She attributes her success to her curiosity and eagerness to learn, which have enabled her to excel across various industries, and to that end she aims to earn a Master’s degree in the next five years. She also acknowledges the valuable lessons learned from her coworkers, managers, and other leaders throughout her career.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Shea is actively involved in industry-related organizations such as Hexagon UX, the User Experience Professionals Association, Interaction Design Association LA, and (LAUX). She served as a community moderator for UXBeginner.com from 2017 to 2019 and continues to mentor through the UXPA Mentorship Program. She also volunteers as a guest speaker or reviewer at her alma mater, Cal Poly Pomona.
Outside of her career, Ms. Shea enjoys studying and has ambitious goals for the future. She aspires to lead a larger team while building something innovative that she deeply believes in. Additionally, she hopes to become a part-time professor to help others reach their full potential and eventually establish her own creative agency.
