In partnership with Asseto, Soneium unveils ipUSD and IP Vault, opening access to diversified royalty exposure and advancing its vision to bring the economic value of intellectual property accessible onchain.
Soneium today announced the launch of ipUSD and IP Vault on Soneium Portal, giving eligible users access to royalty-linked exposure from a $549 million diversified intellectual property (IP) royalties fund.
Managed by Partners Group, with digital asset infrastructure provided by Asseto, the underlying fund spans 53 investments and more than 100,000 royalty streams, including royalty-linked exposure to The Weeknd’s back catalogue, music from notable artists, Discovery’s television library and assets across pharmaceuticals, brands and energy transition. Eligible users can gain exposure to the fund by successfully depositing ipUSD into IP Vault on Soneium Portal, lowering the barrier to entry to a royalties strategy that has historically been accessible mainly to institutional investors.
The launch builds on Soneium’s vision for Tokenized IP: bringing the economic value of intellectual property onchain and creating new ways for people to access opportunities linked to the creative works and entertainment they know.

Turning real-world assets into onchain opportunities
Music, film and other intellectual property generate billions in royalties, yet access to the investment opportunities behind these assets has traditionally been limited.
IP Vault changes that equation through Soneium Portal and opens the door to a unique asset class that has remained long out of reach to many.
Asseto provides the digital asset infrastructure connecting the underlying strategy with Soneium’s onchain ecosystem. Through this collaboration, Asseto aims to bring more institutional-grade IP-linked products onto Soneium, expanding access to diversified IP-related yield opportunities while enabling greater composability, utility and ecosystem participation for onchain assets.

Advancing Soneium’s Tokenized IP ecosystem
With the launch of ipUSD and IP Vault, Soneium envisions a future where intellectual property becomes a dynamic part of the global onchain economy. ipUSD will also be available on the Startale App from launch, allowing users to swap between USDSC, Soneium’s native stablecoin, and ipUSD directly within the app. This integration provides a seamless way for users to access ipUSD and participate in Soneium’s growing onchain ecosystem.
ipUSD and IP Vault will be accessible via the Soneium Portal beginning on October 28, 2026, in the morning UTC.
