Michael Shmulevich Commended for Expertise in Technology and Software Engineering

In addition to his role at FirstTouch, Mr. Shmulevich serves as chief executive officer of Superscript Systems Ltd., a software development firm he founded originally as Exilion Technologies in Canada in 2008 and rebranded upon its U.S. expansion in 2024. Superscript Systems has focused on fintech and AI, with notable work including the development of Titlepool, a film-industry payment platform powered by artificial intelligence.

Since 2022, Mr. Shmulevich has served as chief technology officer and co-founder of AMLOK in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he continues to drive innovation in software solutions. From 2018 to 2024, he was vice president of software engineering at Securter in Ontario, Canada, where he managed teams responsible for secure payment technologies. His expertise in blockchain and security was further demonstrated during his tenure as software architect at Blockstation in Toronto from 2016 to 2022.

From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Shmulevich was director of software development at BSM Technologies and a software engineer at Trivium Technologies from 1998 to 2000.

Mr. Shmulevich holds two patents in relation to his work, one for an “Unattended Mobile Point of Sale System” and another for “Scheduling Data Communication for Mobile Communication Devices with Multiple Wireless Network Interfaces Associated with Differing Costs.” Further bolstering his expertise, he is an active member of the Forbes Technology Council.

Academically, Mr. Shmulevich’s background includes earning a software engineer degree with honors in computer science from Technological College of Beer Sheva, Division of Ben-Gurion University in 1998. He has also gained certifications, such as machine learning from Stanford University and several from Microsoft, including MCAD/MCSD.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Shmulevich credits much of his success to the unwavering support of his wife. Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Shmulevich enjoys scuba diving as a hobby and spending time with family, including his two children.
